He tried to convince me to cancel the reservation.

I did not cancel,because the cancellation fee is CAD 3,782.50, the paid travelling insurance CADD 2,000.00, the paid plane ticket CAD 4,634,20, total: CAD 10,416.70. Too high to lose.
